These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and DivisServices, Inc. ("DivisServices," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website and budgeting software (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

2. The Service

DivisServices is a personal and household budgeting tool that helps you record income and expenses, set budgets, receive bill reminders, and share a budget with members of your household. The Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the Service; or
• Upload content that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law.

4. Subscriptions & payments

We offer a free plan and paid plans (Pro and Family). Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and may change with notice.

5. Free trials

Paid plans may include a free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fee. We will tell you the trial length before you start.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the budget data and content you enter ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DivisServices will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from financial decisions you make using the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify you where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado.
